Sofia Katherine Dorr

This scholarship fund was created in memory of Sofia Katherine Dorr of Sonoma, California, where she attended local schools. Sofia was known as a warm and caring student, and for her generosity, friendship and dedication to her loved ones in the community. Sofia was an emerging artist and was always learning new ways to be creative.

The Sonoma Aswan Sisters Cities Committee and Art Escape are once again joining hands to remember Sofia by offering this scholarship to our local youth.

Sofia’s family and friends wish to continue her creative spirit by giving local kids, however young, a place of safety to find a path by expressing themselves through the arts. The scholarships make it possible for any young person to be able to attend workshops at Art Escape regardless of economic background.
